About Me

I'm a stage manager with a primary focus in dance. I earned a BFA in Stage Management from Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts.I got my start in theatre taking improv classes at the age of 7. Theatre was the only extracurricular that I would agree to do. I went on to attend Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in Hagerstown, MD. During my time at BISFA, I discovered that my favorite part of theatre was watching rehearsal and taking blocking notes. My senior year, I decided that stage management was the career for me, despite never trying it. Students were not allowed to stage manage the musicals, but I boldly went into my audition and treated it as an interview to be the stage manager. I got the position and immediately fell in love with the role.In my time at Point Park University, I found a love for concert dance. The traditions and fast-paced, independent culture of dance were right up my alley. I have gone on to work for a wide range of dance companies including Vail Dance Festival, National High School Dance Festival, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.
